Lady

|
Lady is a 5 year old little girl, English Springer Mix (but we're not sure what breed she's mixed with). She was found as a stray and is now looking for her forever home. Lady is very active, and will need obedience training. She hasn't shown any agression towards other dogs. Lady is reported to be good with cats. She was given her normal shots, including Bordetella prior to coming into our system. She will have her Rabies shot and a health check-up by our vet asap.
Since she just came into our system at the writing of this posting, we don't know if she is house-trained or not. But Springers usually are very easy to house-train.

Mama Boots

|
Mama Boots was a stray pregnant mom taken in by the Montrose, CO., animal shelter where she gave birth in a foster home. After ten weeks tending to her pups, she is ready to find a forever home
Mama Boots is approx. 1 ½ years of age, and she is a very sweet and loving pooch. She gets along with other dogs very well, loves to play, and is extremely affectionate with everyone. |
Max

|
Max is just a young "pup", full of constant energy and wants to play, play and play. He's good with other dogs, kids, and loves being around everyone. The more the merrier with Max!
He has a habit of chasing shadows, so he'll need training to address that, but also because of his energy level, he will need someone who will commit to a good training program. Max is smart and will respond well. His foster parents report that he knows the dog door, and is house-trained. His new home will need to have a taller fence, as he can jump over a shorter fence. Max just wants to see what's on the other side and follow more adventure! With time and patience, Max will make a great addition to your family.
Max is up to date on his shots, including Bordetella, Rabies, and is heart-worm negative. For more info on Mac, please call Kenny at 970-245-9228. |

Oreo (male)

|
I just had my first birthday! My name is Oreo, and I heard someone say that I am not a pure Springer Spaniel - I've no clue that that means, but maybe you know. I had a family in Montrose, Colorado, but they did not have time for my energetic young spirit, and off to the shelter I went. I spent a few weeks with real nice humans with three playful friends like me. Then, I went for a long car ride and ended up here in town.
I have been neutered, chipped and stuck several times on my back with a long needle; they call them 'annual shots'. I sure love to run, play with others (canines and humans), and cuddle. Also, I crate myself when it is sleepy time, and when my human friends are not at home, and I understand that I must go to the bathroom outside of the home. I know basic commands, but I hear that I need more schooling - Yikes! I am tired of moving around, so I want to go to my forever home, soon. |

Oreo (female)

|
Oreo is approx 5-6 years old and is looking for a home where she can be the only doggie in the house. She's very affectionate, wants to be with you wherever you go, and is very devoted to her humans. She bonds quickly to anyone who will show her affection and care. Although she's getting along just fine in her foster home with her 2 foster brother Springers, she would be more comfortable being the only one.
Oreo is very well behaved in the home and can be trusted when left alone. She rides well in a car, and is a very easy-going girl. She's smart, learns quickly, and does know some basic obedience commands. Oreo is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on shots including Rabies and Bordetella. |

Spauldy

|
Spauldy is a great fun-loving guy. He's active, gets along with cats, plays with other dogs, loves his people and good with kids. He has been professionally trained and is very responsive to his humans working with him to keep up the manners he was taught. He was found as a stray originally, and is an all-around great boy, and handsome too!
Spauldy is house-trained and is very anxious to find his forever home with a family who will give him the love he deserves. |
