Volunteering

Volunteers are our survival. Please indicate in the ESRR contact form that will be provided, your capabilities.Your time and services are always appreciated. And, of course, our most precious and needed type of volunteering is fostering.

The Ideal Foster Home

Springers can adapt to any environment as long as there are "ample" areas where they can exercise. They never seem to tire and are always ready, willing, and able to go out for walks any time and as long as possible.

They are extremely affectionate and love the company of people, and therefore aren't too keen on being left alone for long hours at a time.  If practical, it would be a good idea to have more than one Springer as they love to run and play together and become great companions. For this, a fairly large sized yard with a six-foot fence is recommended. Basically, Springers love family life, are very active and always on the go.  They are smart, and very responsive to good training.

Your responsibility is to provide food, water, and shelter for the Springer. English Springer Rescue of the Rockies, Inc will be responsible to the Springer's medical care while in your foster home.

If you have these special qualities and plenty of love, commitment, and the total dedication that is required to foster a Springer, then you and your home are what we are looking for. Please choose Foster Homing from the menu and fill out the Foster Home Application and submit. And thank you! Your contribution is our survival.
